Praying for your Family should be a top Priority!
Family was the very first institution God created. God said it was not good for man to be alone so let’s make him a helper and this is when Eve, the mother of ladies appeared on the scene. God then said, let them be fruitful and multiply. God immediately summoned man and woman to have children and to be successful in every area of their lives. God had colossal plans for them! His plan was to ensure all mankind would know and love him deeply.
God took very good care of Adam and Eve and he was confident they would share their experience of God with their children and their children would tell their children and the good news would continue on.
However the devil, the cunning serpent came up with a plan to attempt to tharwt those plans. He manipulated the woman into to being disobedient to God rules and succumbing to his ways that lead to death.
You see the devil already had experience with the LORD so he knew the wondeful plans and mighty powers God possessed and how God longed to share His nature with mankind (he knew this because he actually attempted to take God’s place and God kicked him out of heaven). So just like that, he intefered with God-The MASTER’S plan.
However, God outsmarted him and eventurally sent Jesus Christ to redeem us, to take us back from hell, to bring us back to good standing with GOD. Therefore, we have ALL power over the enemy. We have power and we must learn to exercise that power. That power starts on your knees!
The devil tried to take out EVE so that he could also take out family- God’s first institution. Don’t miss this line. Read it again!
Praying for your family should be your number one priority! The devil wants to take you and your family out. He wants to start with you. He’s very well aware if he takes you out, the family automatically follows behind. Don’t let this be so, know your power!
God has so much to gift us with. He wants to gift us with unconditional love, peace, joy, happiness, prosperity, and optimal health!
If we do not make praying for our family our #1 priority, we are literally rolling dice, taking a chance, and just taking the punches as they come, but I come in my loudest voice and I beg you, do not allow the devil to play around with your family! Your children don’t deserve to be a punching bag, neither do your husband and you sure don’t deserve such treatment. Cover your family in prayer every single day! Pray about every aspect of your life, their life. Get a degree in Kneeology. In my following post, I will be sharing you how to do so, in the meantime, get to praying for the gift of family God has given you!
